What's Your Skin Type?

Sensitive skin just means you're prone to inflammation and the causes differs for each person. Causes can include chemicals, dyes, fragrances, friction or even clothing

Signs you have sensitive skin:

• Skin has a reduced tolerance to products
• Has redness, itchiness, and sometimes burning or stinging sensations
• Prone to breakouts and gets dry

Dry skin happens when your skin loses too much water and oil. It makes the skin look and feel rough, itchy, flaky or scaly

Signs you have dry skin:

• Has redness and irritation
• Has a rough texture
• Has tightness or lack of elasticity

Combination skin has pores that look larger than normal because they are more open

Signs you have combination skin:

• Has mild breakouts AND dry spots at the same time
• Has BOTH oily and dry skin areas
• Has oily skin in the T-Zone (Forehead, Nose and Chin) but dry skin everywhere else
• Also has oily skin in the summer time but dry skin in the winter

Oily skin means your glands create too much sebum (which keeps the skin healthy, hydrated and protected). Which in turns, leads to oily skin, clogged pores and acne-prone skin. Also leading to breakouts more easily and more frequently

Signs you have oily/acne-prone skin:

• Skin is shiny and usually appears greasy
• Has whiteheads, blackheads, pimples or other types of acne
• Has enlarged pores on T-Zone (Forehead, Nose and Chin) 

Normal skin is well balanced in all areas. Specially in sebum and moisture

Signs you have normal skin:

• Skin is neither too oily or too dry
• Has a smooth, soft appearance; regular texture, and little to no "imperfections"
• There is no special care or treatments needed
